Welcome! This page has been created by José Manuel Illescas Moya and Inmaculada Garrido Rodríguez. We are two students from the Higher FP in Web Application Development, from IES Severo Ochoa. Elche or Elx is a city and a municipality located in the province of Alicante, in the south of Comunidad Valenciana. It is the capital of Bajo Vinalopó. It has 234 765 inhabitants, being the second most populated city in the province of Alicante and the third in the Comunidad Valenciana.

It has an area of 326.5 square kilometers in which we find a great variety of landscapes, habitats, fauna and flora. It has three major ecosystems: the mountains and hills of the mountains in the interior of the municipality, the coastal dune systems and the Mediterranean coastal wetlands.
